The Hermanos Gutiérrez Are Coming to Greece for the First Time!
On Tuesday, July 1st, Technopolis will transform into a musical sanctuary as the two brothers from Zurich present a unique musical experience for the first time in Greece!
This summer, Athens’ musical landscape will be graced with a warm, Latin American touch that will transport us to distant lands and captivate us with the enchanting sounds of the Hermanos Gutiérrez.
The Gutiérrez brothers are among the most intriguing indie surprises of recent years, having released a series of exceptional albums, starting with their debut 8 Años and continuing up to El Bueno Y El Malo in 2022. Each of their albums has been celebrated by both audiences and critics, cementing their reputation and showcasing their extraordinary talent.
With their new – and seventh overall – album, Sonido Cósmico, brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez promise an experience beyond the ordinary. Ethereal guitars, atmospheric sounds, and mesmerizing intensity combine to create a sonic universe that “shines with hallucinogenic energy” (Rolling Stone). Sonido Cósmico is not just an album; it’s a mystical journey, a summer odyssey to landscapes filled with mystery, dreams, and the essence of their Latin heritage. It’s a musical voyage that takes us to magical realms, brimming with intensity, melodies, and emotions. Each note, each sound invites us into a dream where the guitars converse with cosmic tones, crafting an atmosphere reminiscent of journeys through distant galaxies.
Following in the footsteps of legendary musical siblings – from The Kinks to AC/DC – the Hermanos Gutiérrez, based in Zurich but with deep South American roots, create a minimal Zen ambiance. With the guidance of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), their new album combines authenticity and spirituality, delivering a sound that transcends borders and dimensions.
