Open Mic Challenge: THEATRE OF THE NO Opens Its Stage to New Music Creators
Theatre of the NO continues its support of emerging and up-and-coming music creators with the Open Mic Challenge ,New Talents Music Nights, a special music event that gives new voices the opportunity to showcase their work live.
The first night of the new season takes place on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 21:00, inviting artists and bands to take the stage and perform original material in live sets of up to 45 minutes.
The Open Mic Challenge is an open platform for artistic expression, offering emerging musicians the opportunity to gain live performance experience, present their music and connect directly with an audience.
The Audience Takes Part
The audience plays an active role in the event through a live voting process, giving attendees the opportunity to vote for the artist who stood out to them.
This interactive format creates a direct connection between performers and audiences, making every Open Mic Challenge night a unique live music experience.
Prizes and Opportunities
Each month, one winner will be selected, while at the end of the season, five finalists will qualify for the final competition. One of the finalists will be crowned the overall winner and receive a cash prize.
Participation in the competition is unpaid, but it offers valuable opportunities for exposure, live performance experience and networking, providing an important step in the artistic development of the participating musicians.
