The Roads Festival takes place on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025 at Theatro Petras in Petroupoli, bringing three days of borderless music. From alternative rock and darkwave to modern world fusion, the festival blends diverse genres on one stage at Athens’ most iconic open-air venue.

The Roads Festival aspires to establish itself as the new multi-faceted musical institution of the autumn. Three unique nights that will take us on an unforgetable journey. It is music without borders. Music that moves you.

Day 1 – Friday, September 5

Alternative Rock | Punk

The festival kicks off with high voltage. A night where raw guitars, lyrical energy and the attitude of the streets take center stage.

🎤 Line-up:

  • Mora sti Fotia – Greek punk legends return with their signature intensity.
  • Fundracar – Genre-blending reggae–punk–rock that will set the stage on fire.
  • MAZOHA – Urban romanticism, nihilism, and sing-alongs that speak to those who still dare to feel.
  • SAVINA – Experimental, emotionally-charged fusion of ethnic, lo-fi, and electronic textures.
  • Madame Thekla – A powerful DJ set to open the night and spark the pulse of what’s to come.

Day 2 – Saturday, September 6

EBM | Darkwave

The darkest night of the festival. A deep dive into the European electronic underground, with industrial beats and haunting synths that move both body and mind.

🎤 Line-up:

  • COVENANT (Sweden) – The iconic pioneers of dark EBM and electro return to Athens for a one-night-only appearance.
  • NNHMN (Germany) – One of Berlin’s most exciting darkwave/minimal synth acts, known for their powerful live performances.
  • The Man & His Failures (Greece) – Industrial, electronic, and deeply emotional soundscapes inspired by society, memory, and lived experience.

Day 3 – Sunday, September 7

Tradition | World Fusion

The final day is a celebration. A fusion of roots, rhythm, and reinvention, blending Balkan energy with Greek folk and global soundscapes.

  • Kadinelia – From Epirus to the Balkans, this duo weaves yesterday with today through strings and soul.

  • Petros Veronis – Bouzouki and laouto meet cinematic rock vibes.
