Jack Savoretti Live in Athens
Jack Savoretti, one of the most beloved artists among Greek audiences, is returning to Athens for a special live performance on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the iconic Lycabettus Municipal Theatre.
“We Will Always Be the Way We Were” Tour 2026
The concert is part of his “We Will Always Be the Way We Were” Tour 2026, celebrating both a new album and two decades of songwriting.
A Return to His Musical Roots
2026 marks 20 years since Jack Savoretti’s debut album Between the Minds, and the release of his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were (April 10, 2026), represents a bold, deeply personal return to the sound and spirit that first defined his career.
Recorded live at Eastcote Studios in West London with his long-time band — Jesper Lind (drums), Sam Davies (bass), Sam Lewis (guitar), Nikolai Torp (keyboards & organ), Shannon Harris (piano & Wurlitzer) — the album captures the spontaneity, chemistry, and storytelling Savoretti is renowned for.
“This is a full-circle album,” Savoretti says. “It’s going back to my roots, to the neighborhood where I first started making music — with the same friends and musicians I met around Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road. It’s the album I always wanted to make when I was starting out, but didn’t yet have the courage or experience to make. Now I do.”
A New Chapter After Miss Italia
We Will Always Be The Way We Were follows the critically acclaimed and award-winning Italian-language album Miss Italia (2024), which marked a creative turning point in Savoretti’s career. The album features 12 tracks, including the recent singles “Do It For Love” (co-written with Miles Kane) and “Only Gonna Cry For You” (featuring Steph Fraser). The title track has already been added to the BBC Radio 2 A List, and Savoretti recently performed it on Graham Norton.
The title track, released alongside the album announcement, is a shimmering Italo-disco anthem about nostalgia, change, and self-acceptance.
From the Royal Albert Hall to Lycabettus
Earlier this year, Savoretti announced a one-off celebratory show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 23, commemorating his 20-year career—with tickets selling out in under an hour. Now, he brings that same spirit of reflection and renewal to Athens.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Lycabettus Theatre, the Athens concert promises a deeply atmospheric evening, blending new material with fan-favorite songs that have defined Savoretti’s journey.
In a moment of creative fulfillment, Jack Savoretti invites the Greek audience to share an unforgettable night—one that bridges the past and present of an artist who continues to evolve while staying true to his roots.
