The Harlem Globetrotters 100 Year Tour Comes to Thessaloniki
For the first time in more than seven decades, the Harlem Globetrotters return to Thessaloniki, bringing their historic 100 Year World Tour to one of Greece’s most iconic basketball cities.
The World’s Greatest Basketball Show Returns After More Than 70 Years
Basketball history is coming home.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the world’s most legendary basketball entertainment team will take over Nick Galis Hall, delivering a once-in-a-generation live spectacle that celebrates 100 years of basketball excellence, innovation, and showmanship.
A Historic Return to a Basketball City
The last time the Harlem Globetrotters played in Thessaloniki was on June 22, 1964, at the open court of XANTH (YMCA), where more than 3,000 fans gathered during the team’s historic European tour.
Now, more than 70 years later, the Globetrotters return — not just to play, but to celebrate a century of basketball history in a city that truly lives and breathes the game. Following the Athens stop on April 5, the tour moves north, bringing global basketball history to one of Greece’s most passionate sports communities.
One legendary tour.
One historic arena.
One unforgettable night.
