Aegean Omiros College CRETE IBT 2025 – Coming Back to Crete!
The fall of 2025 kicks off in the best possible way for basketball fans! The Aegean Omiros College CRETE International Basketball Tournament (IBT) returns for its 5th consecutive year, bringing top European teams to Heraklion to set the court of the Nea Alikarnassos Indoor Arena on fire.
From September 19 to 21, fans of the sport will have the chance to enjoy a mini “preview” of the EuroLeague, with thrilling matchups that promise spectacle, intensity, and plenty of top-level basketball.
The Teams Coming to Crete
This year’s tournament hosts four true giants of European basketball:
- Olympiacos – The Reds return for the 5th time, ready to thrill their fans.
- Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul – The reigning European champion, joining the tournament for the second consecutive year.
- EA7 Emporio Armani Milano – The Italians are back for their second appearance, determined to showcase their strength.
- Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) – The passionate Serbian team with rich history, making its 3rd appearance in Heraklion.
Four teams, one stage, and a crowd that knows how to enjoy basketball like no other!
