Athens is preparing to welcome back world-class women's tennis as the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Athens Open WTA 250 takes place from 11–19 July 2026 at the Stadion Sports Center, within the Olympic Tennis Center of Athens.

The tournament marks the return of the WTA Tour to Athens for the first time in 35 years, reconnecting the city with an important chapter in its sporting history and bringing elite women’s tennis back to the Greek capital.
