Paris has always had its own unmistakable sound. From the swing and Manouche jazz of Django Reinhardt to the melodies of Michel Legrand and the timeless songs of Édith Piaf and Jacques Brel, French music has created a legacy that continues to inspire audiences around the world.

Under the musical direction of Gilad Atzmon, the five-piece ensemble creates a musical journey that moves from the swing tradition of Manouche jazz to French chanson and the rich heritage of film music. Improvisation and interaction between the musicians add a fresh, contemporary jazz dimension to the repertoire while preserving the character of the iconic artists and composers who shaped it.

GILAD ATZMON'S BASS-LESS QUARTET

The ensemble features Tali Atzmon on vocals, Gilad Atzmon on saxophone and clarinet, Giannis Papadopoulos on piano, George Pantazopoulos on double bass and Panagiotis Themas on drums.

A night for lovers of jazz, chanson and music that can evoke an entire city through sound alone. Let the melodies of Reinhardt, Legrand, Piaf and Brel take you on a journey through the spirit of Paris.
