“Music Is a Woman 2”: A Month Celebrating Female Creativity at Mikros Kerameikos

The festival “Music Is a Woman 2” returns for a second year to the theatrical space of Mikros Kerameikos, running from September 11 to October 11, 2026, for an entire month dedicated to female creativity, voice and expression.

Curated by Dimitris Aivaliotis and presented in collaboration with Concerto Cafe Artistic, the festival brings together different musical identities, genres and artistic approaches, celebrating the power and diversity of women’s presence on the music scene.

From cabaret, jazz, blues and swing to Greek music and distinctive live performances, “Music Is a Woman 2” creates a vibrant mosaic of sounds, stories and voices.

The second edition of the festival features a series of concerts and performances, bringing talented artists and unique musical acts to the stage of Mikros Kerameikos.

September 11, 2026 — Nasia Sotirchou

The festival opens on September 11 with Nasia Sotirchou, kicking off a month filled with music, personal stories and female creativity.

September 19, 2026 — Lena Lou

Lena Lou (Lena Stamellou) presents a programme inspired by cabaret, jazz, blues and swing, bringing the retro atmosphere and charm of another era to the stage.

September 20, 2026 — Georgia Angelou “Without Guilt”

On September 20, Georgia Angelou presents “Without Guilt”, a musical journey centred on female expression and the power of an individual voice.

September 25, 2026 — Cyka de la Blyat

On September 25, the festival continues with Cyka de la Blyat, bringing their distinctive musical presence to the stage of Mikros Kerameikos.

September 26, 2026 — Eleni Gourzi “Four Voices, One Story”

On September 26, Eleni Gourzi presents “Four Voices, One Story”, a tribute to four iconic female voices of Greek music: Sofia Vembo, Poly Panou, Vicky Moscholiou and Haris Alexiou.

A meeting of different generations and musical journeys, through songs that have left their own lasting mark on Greek music.

October 4, 2026 — Chansons d’amour et de Rêve

On October 4, Chansons d’amour et de Rêve takes the stage, adding another distinctive musical evening to the festival programme.
