This summer, families and theatre lovers are invited to step into a world of imagination, music, and unforgettable adventures with “Pinocchio Adventures in Florence”, the new family production by Athens Theatre “Thespis”.
A captivating theatrical experience filled with humour, emotion, and meaningful life lessons, this production brings the beloved story of the wooden boy who dreams of becoming a real child to life on stage.
A Classic Story Filled with Adventure, Imagination and Heart
The story begins when an elderly woodcarver, Master Geppetto, transforms a simple piece of wood into a remarkable puppet with human characteristics. With the help of the Blue Fairy, Pinocchio comes to life and begins an extraordinary journey filled with discoveries, challenges, and unexpected encounters.
Along the way, Pinocchio meets a colourful cast of characters, including the Blue Fairy Doremi, the clever fox Fourbakiona, the mischievous cat Chico, the mysterious puppet master Fire-Eater, the wise cricket Solasi, and the woodcutter Kerasi.
Through his adventures, Pinocchio learns some of life’s most important values: honesty, friendship, kindness, responsibility, respect, generosity, and compassion. His journey teaches children and adults alike that mistakes can become opportunities to grow and that courage and determination can help dreams come true.
