The Plot

Young soldier Tsitsos (portrayed by Prokopis Agathokleous) is assigned to escort the blind and eccentric Captain Fausto from Turin to Naples. Along the way, they encounter a variety of unique characters, in a journey filled with moments of laughter, tension, revelations, and touching confessions.

The emotional high point of their trip is Sara, the woman who embodies the essence of the title and perhaps carries the hope of redemption. She is portrayed by Marianna Pouregka.

A life-changing journey — a story about the darkness that leads to light, about the feminine presence as memory and catalyst, about friendship, loss, and hope.
